OKLAHOMA CITY (February 14, 2025) – WPSL PRO confirmed today that it has partnered with the upcoming 2025 WPSL International Combine that has been set for July in Charlotte, NC. With the announcement, WPSL PRO joins other combine partners, FUTLAB PRO and Soccer Performance International (SPI), for this year’s event.
“We are pleased to announce our affiliation with the WPSL Pro, an organization deeply committed to the advancement of women’s professional soccer,” Andy Vera, SPI President said. “The WPSL Combine is dedicated to showcasing the world’s top women athletes and creating a clear pathway to play in the WPSL Pro.”
WPSL PRO LOI clubs will join international scouts from Spain and Italy, including Madrid CFF, Valencia FC and CUS Cosenza. Francesca Stancati (Italian FIGC UEFA “A”) and Mattia Volpi (Italian FIGC UEFA “A”) have already been confirmed as the combine’s lead coaches.
The combine will be held 21 through July 23 in Charlotte, N.C. For the second consecutive year, WPSL side Women’s Football Club of Charlotte will host the two-day event at OrthoCarolina Sportsplex. Scouts will observe players in two 120-minute training sessions and three 90-minute full-field scrimmages.
